This Edmond homeowner had a beautiful mature oak tree, but recent damage had caused it to lean significantly. When an oak becomes compromised and starts to lean, especially over a critical structure like a garage, the risk escalates dramatically. The sheer size and density of oak wood means that if it falls, the impact can be catastrophic, leading to extensive property damage and high repair costs. The result

Addressing a damaged oak leaning over a garage requires careful planning and execution. Our Arbor Image Tree Care team assessed the tree's lean, its proximity to the garage, and access points. We determined that a combination of a bucket truck for canopy access and climbing techniques for the back side of the tree was the safest and most efficient method. The bucket truck allowed our arborists to safely reach higher sections of the tree to begin cutting and lowering limbs away from the garage. Simultaneously, another arborist climbed the tree from the less compromised side, systematically dismantling the tree in smaller, manageable sections. This ensured controlled removal, protecting the homeowner's property throughout the process. All wood and debris were removed from the site, leaving the property clean.
