Our approach
Before the new Blue Deodar could be planted, the old tree had to be safely removed. Our team carefully disassembled the existing tree, ensuring no damage to the surrounding landscaping or the nearby stone house. Tree removal requires precision, especially in confined spaces like a front yard. Once the tree was down, the remaining stump needed to be ground below grade. Stump grinding eliminates the trip hazard, prevents new growth from the old root system, and prepares the site for new planting. We ground the stump thoroughly, leaving the area ready for the next phase.

With the old tree and stump gone, we prepared the soil for the new specimen. Proper site preparation is critical for a tree's long-term health. We assessed the soil, made necessary amendments, and ensured adequate drainage for the Blue Deodar's root ball. The 12-foot Blue Deodar was then carefully maneuvered into its new home. Planting a large tree requires proper technique to ensure the root collar is at the correct depth and the tree is plumb. Our ISA Certified Arborists made sure the tree was securely planted and initially watered, setting it up for success.
